Beautiful design, flawed engineering
Love this design (more of a modern art deco look), but the engineering (ie the part that opens and closes the flaps to allow for air flow to flow or not) is lack luster. Some opened and closed easily while most (I bought 14) were very hard to maneuver. The metal is flimsy so at best it opens partially, but if you want them to open all the way, you must pull the vent out, open it from underneath (somewhat forcefully) and then replace the vent. For the price we paid and the amount we bought, I was honestly hoping for a more solid and reliable piece. We’ll see how they work over time.
